The period between Memorial Day and Labor Day is often referred to as “Trauma Season."

During the summer when more people take to the highways and engage in outdoor activities, unexpected emergencies occur, including some that can require 100 or more units of blood to help a single patient. You can help by encouraging others to give blood as you do during the summer months.
