Dr. Gerald Parker joins us for History Night on Tuesday, February 11. His discovery of radio at a young age led to a passion for history and a hobby that has stuck with him many years.
"I became interested in radio when I was ten years old and have continued to be very involved with the hobby. I had access to some "war surplus" equipment in the early 1950's and played with these wonderful toys hundreds of hours. After college I was involved in Naval Aviation and later attended Dental School. I retired in 2007 from active practice and have continued to be very involved with vacuum tube radios and with the history and operation of steam traction engines at Rollag."
Admission: $10 donation, FREE for Museum members. No pre-registration required.
