The Fargo Air Museum will host the Experimental Aviation Association Chapter 317 for Young Eagles Flights on Sunday, September 29, 2013 beginning at noon.
Youth between the ages of 8 through 17 are invited to take to the skies and experience the thrill of flying.
To become a Young Eagle the parents or legal guardian of the child must complete and sign the release/registration form before the flight. Forms will be available when you arrive at the Fargo Air Museum, or we can send a brochure and form out to you prior to the date.
The pilots will explain to the participants what the flight will be like, telling about the aircraft, conducting a pre-flight inspection, and sharing important safety considerations when taking flight.
The pilots who participate in the Young Eagles program are local members of EAA who are volunteering their time and aircraft to make these flights possible. The pilots are certified with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and all the aircraft utilized are also registered by the FAA. The flight will be conducted according to federal regulations.
